Interesting having two opposite reviews back to back. I don't know if the other reviewer got a bad set, or has just never changed a headlight. Mine were fine. Housings are solid, just as thick and sturdy as the OEM bulbs. Lights are nice and bright white, with a very subtle hue of blue. Significantly brighter than standard halogens. If your wiring is too small, standard bulbs are 55/65 watts, these are 80/100 watts, more current needs thicker wire. If that's your problem, your lights won't get enough power, won't be as bright as they should be, the power will probably be unstable, cause your lights to burn out faster, and if they're way too thin, wires overheat and melt their insulation. Technically that shouldn't happen because there are standards. But standards were created because not everyone adheres to them. Also, if your lamps run through fuses, you will probably need to go up to 20a's or 25a's, depending what else is running on that fuse. If they run through a breaker system, you should be fine.
For their price, quality, and brightness, these deserve 6 stars, if not 7. Been running them half a year, ran them for 6+ hours on several drives. No issues, no complaints, no overheating, nothing.... They're awesome. If when, they ever burn out or break, I'll be buying them again. They've already been worth the money.

These bulbs are very low quality, the support tabs used for inserting the bulb will easily break off, they are half the thickness of stock bulbs. I thought the brightness of an 80/100 watt bulb would be fantastic, however these bulbs DO NOT even produce the same amount of light as stock bulbs.

Not a problem here either. Good build quality. As good as any other brand I have bought as far as design goes. They are much brighter than a stock style. The do draw more amperage. If the factory wire is not large enough this would also lead to low power as the gent eluded to with the low review. A simple fix would be to run a larger diameter power wire than the factory did. However if he broke the mounting tabs odds are his bulb is not centered in the headlight assembly as it should be. The light would not be focused properly and performance would suffer. It is truly unfair to give a product 1 star due to improper instillation. A better option would have been to contact the manufacturer, then watch a youtube video on how to do it when he had the new part. Or let someone change it that knew how.
